[OT] Upgrading a raid drive

Hi all,

I have a machine with two 180GB drives configured as mirrored raid and I am
running out of disk space. I don't want to reinstall all the system as it
has quite a lot of applications on there so would prefer a neater all at
once solution.

I want to install 2 new 500GB drives and ghost the old drive to the new
ones. Looking around on the net I get conflicting reports about whether
Norton Ghost is suitable for this.

I was wondering if anyone here has completed a similar task?

I have an external 320GB drive that I could use the likes of Acronis to
make
a back up to, then install the new drives and restore the partition to the
new drives, expanding to use the full disk space. I am running WinXP Pro on
this machine.

Any and all advice appreciated?

Regards

Dave...
