Buying a NTSC camcorder if you're in the UK is not a good idea.  The
different resolution between PAL 576 lines and NTSC 480 lines will cause
the image to be stretched when played back on a UK TV at 4:3..
BTW NTSC is also known as 'Never The Same Colour' !!!
Have you considered getting a HD camcorder?

Hi all,

Looking at getting a video camera and have stumbled upon a cheap option for
a model I'm looking at but only draw back is that it's NTSC.

Is the only consideration that I wouldn't be able to plug it into a PAL
television and playback or is there more that I need to be aware of?
