I needed to ship a 9" CRT projector from the east coast to Germany,
and found http://shipping-worldwide.com/ to
be helpful to get quotes
and stuff. In the end, I went with a local company for about the same
I would have paid with shipping worldwide.
Might be helpful to get a feel of what to expect.
