RE: Windows Home Server
On WHS, I run vPOP3 (www.pscs.co.uk). Excellent piece of (relatively
cheap)
software. It also feeds Exchange on my SBS server in my studio.

Subject: [ukha_d] Windows Home Server
Hi All
I'm considering replacing my aging Win2k3 server with a low power WHS
box.
I was wondering if anyone had any insight into:
1. A good group mail package for WHS (Currently running Exchange but
its overkill really). Ideally with central calendar support. Client
needs to be outlook.
2. Does anyone run WHS with a few background apps? Mine will need to
run:
a. Slimserver
b. C-Gate
c. A few other small apps that run 24/7
Microsoft obviously want WHS to be seen as a Microsoft box which ONLY
runs their systems but assumedly as its 95% 2003 server it copes OK with
other apps?
TTFN
Rob
