Curious as to why you'd go for an over priced tranquil pc rather than
a lower priced, lower wattage one? Granted they look pretty, but even
with their Droboesque box, for that price, I'd buy a Drobo. Unless
space is at a premium might I suggest something based on a VIA iDot
(PC3500G or PC2500E) they are dirt cheap, granted they are micro ATX
rather than mini but it's a server not a fashion statement. The 3500
idles at 30w and the 2500 at 27w which although not really low, is
still much much less than most modern CPU's use on their own (65w/90w
and up) only the newer 45nm cpus tend to be lower (at about 30-35w).

I'm deliberately not supplying links (see dislaimer) unless you
particularly want them, but there is a home server bundle in the
appropriately named "bundles" section of our site.
