I'm also no expoer but there's (usually) no harm, the device will only
draw
what it needs.
I say "usually" as there may be some situations when this won't
be true; 20A
PSU for 0.25A load perhaps? Depends on the style of PSU I suppose and even
then it'd probably be the PSU that complains, rather than the device...

For your figures I wouldn't worry and I would plug it in if it was mine :-)
