You need to check that it will support the Zwave controller.

I use a Keyspan USB server, hoping to do the same thing, but it only
supports a small subset of USB devices, mainly printers and storage
devices. It's now relegated to be a print server, which it does
reasonably well.

The Belkin may be better in that its drivers may allow transparent
access to the USB ports, but then again..
