RE: what IS the 'Unbioctium'
Ok I finally got the problem sorted with my CC128 and it was indeed
the CT
position that was causing the discrepancy. By re-arranging the CTs both old
& new units are reading similar values at last. However now I have
noticed
something else - when I compare the XMLK data from the CC128 to the main
display it appears that the display power and XML power do not match at
higher loads. For example right now my display is showing 4.1kw whereas the
XML data is reporting 3.6kw! At low power readings then they both appear to
read a similar value. Has anyone else paid much attention to this? It now
makes me think I need to get a decent clamp CT meter and see which is
correct value, that on the display or that in the XML data.

When I first got the CC128 I had it running with it's supplied transmitter
on the bench ie CT not clamped around any cable and it did indeed display 0
right up until I fitted the transmitter out at the main meter. My original
display continued to read correctly as it always has so I'm sure there is
no
interference between the transmitters, just a big discrepancy between
readings. I'll do some proper testing at the weekend to see if I can work
out exactly what is going on.

I still wonder if one of the displays might have two transmitters
feeding it. What happens if you remove 1 sensor clamp from the cable so
it transmits '0' .. Do either of the displays alternate a 0 and the true
reading every six seconds ?
