Re: Nanovision 7" USB displays

They are the non-touchscreen versions. I got that Scanshot as well -
notic=
ed them too, but the price advertised was =A374.97 Ex VAT - when you
follow=
the link they are =A386.68 Ex VAT.
I was interested in one of these but Kevin didn't seem to like it -
Kevin??=
? Might be worth a pop at =A375 though.

Subject: [ukha_d] Nanovision 7" USB displays

I just came across this little 7" display / touch-screen in a email-
shot from scan computers. There is a review here:

http://technabob.com/blog/2008/12/01/nanovision-mimo-7-inch-mini-
monitor-hands-on-review/

the manufacturer website is:

http://www.nanovision.co.kr/

They are USB powered, with webcam built-in. There are several HA=20
application advantages here, not the least being that more than one=20
unit can be attatched to a pc. Also, I imagine with some form of USB=20
line-driver they can be located a fair distance away from the pc. The=20
webcam may be useful for in-building video chat with obvious=20
applications for entry systems etc., if it can communicate with IP=20
based cameras & mic's.

http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=3D27490&ms=3Dmsso38

The model on scan is selling for a =A3100. Not clear if it includes=20
touch screen.
