RE: [OT] Change of Mother board now PC won't boot into XP
Have you checked that the SATA port is set to the right mode in the
BIOS... - IIRC most BIOS's will allow you to configure SATA ports in
legacy IDE emulation mode, or in native AHCI mode...
How do you know the mobo driver CD is visible during boot up? - is it
bootable? (some are) - does it offer to let you boot from it? - when you
saw this, was the SATA HDD connected at the same time? - if not, if you
connect the SATA Disk, is the CD still "visible"?
