Yip,
1 wire refers to the fact that it gets power and sends and receives the
data
on 1 wire (although some devices do need external power).
You still need a ground as a reference. On a car for instance, it would be
a
real 1 wire system as you would use the body as the ground reference and as
this is a chunk of metal it can't be considered a wire!!

Not knocking the product - but I'm always amused by "1-wire"
solutions
....that always (correct me if I'm wrong) ...use 2 wires at a minimum :s
Yeah - OK - maybe one wire for data, one for "power" or
"reference", but
it's still two wires!
have I missed something fundamental here?
(Really not knocking it - I *like* 1-wire setups!)
