RE: [OT] Vista MCE DVD playback

I now have a new problem with this ****ard machine....

I got everything bar the mouse working just great, both SWMBO & I have
watched ripped DVD's and can't discern any image stability problems...

Which is fine, until I reboot the machine with the plasma screen turned
off... - which happens every day because as part of the energy
conservation measures, I have it automatically power down for a large
portion of the day when it isn't required. At this point, at appears to
say "there isn't a 2nd screen connected, so I'm going to reconfigure
the
display properties back to single display only"...

When I then subsequently turn on the plasma, there is no display, and if
I go to the PC & check the display properties, sure enough, nVidia
clone
mode is no longer effective, and I have to re-set the dual display clone
config...

This is pants! - I want to set the display mode I want, and I want it to
jolly well stay that way! - anyone know of a way I can make the display
configuration "stick", and stop "helpfully" changing my
preferences
every time it starts up without the 2nd display attached?...

Paul G.
