Sky - Anyone know...

...what the "rules" are on getting a SkyHD box onto a non HD
subscription?

Basically I want to use a SkyHD box to be able to use the HDMI out to feed
my DVI equipped flatscreen and projector ... means that I don't have to run
additional sets of analogue video cables to the projector and also the
scaler built into the flatscreen isn't very good at handling standard
definition Sky inputs.

We have a fairly basic package (no premium sports or movies channels) and I
have no desire to add any of them either - would be nice to be able to add
the recording / pausing functionality of the SkyHD box (I believe that Sky
allow Sky+ boxes to be added to basic subscriptions for no extra charge
now)
but the main purpose is just to get an HDMI/DVI connection to the TV and an
SPDIF audio feed to the AV processor.

Phil
