Hi dreamgreenhouse,

After your post I have looked at Java again, using Eclipse, and like it
but, it seems Java and RS232 are not easilly supported (RXTX may be
useable?), as i want it to work on received data event only not on polling
the port.

Then i looked at USB and again almost no support?

Not sure about ethernet, as i would like to eventaully connect PIC Micro
via ethernet to PC, can Java easily do this?

I have read that you make a wrapper for various interfaces and devices, but
not sure what this means, and how it would be used?

An easy to understand example would be useful?
