RE: If building a house would you use X-10?
If you're doing it as a bit of something to do then by all means use
X10 but
if you're doing it to actually do a proper job of it then go with something
like C-Bus...
You *CAN* get X10 to be reliable (I did) but it is very easy to screw up a
nicely working install by plugging in some built-down-to-a-price power
supply for some random piece of kit...
