RE: Re: XBOX Softmod - there *IS* a god, - and he effing hates me!

Did you have any joy in town Noel? - I popped in to my local Game
store
on Sunday, and was a little disappointed to see absolutely no original
xbox stuff whatsoever.. - nothing, nada.. - no preowned consoles, no
games no peripherals... It was as if it never existed...

Shame really, I would have liked to pick up a couple of wired
controllers, - I want to sacrifice one to make a USB adapter cable and
then set up my old surplus to requirements 1GB memory stick as an XBOX
memory device with all of the exploit files on there ready to use for
any future softmod effort. - once all my boxes are done, I wouldn't have
a huge need of this, so I'd be more than happy to share it round if I
can get it done...

I'd also like to pick up another DVD remote kit, and maybe even the
advanced scart cable for a superior video connection... - anyone know
anywhere that still stocks old original xbox gear? - I guess it must be
fairly rare by now...

I've got a chipped xbox but want to pick up a few more (going to town
tomorrow to get some!!) and soft mod them, i only want xbmc on there
and dont need to change hard drive so def easier than messing with
chips, only remaining mod then will be to do the IR power on mod to
them.

Cheers

Noel
