Mounting on LCD on a wall that slopes

  • Subject: Mounting on LCD on a wall that slopes

My brother decided his 32" LCD TV wasn't good enough for him so
he's
decided to give it to me (although I am insisting on giving him some
beer tokens in return)!

The only place the TV can do in our lounge is in an 30cm deep alcove
(it's between a very wide chimney breast and pillar that supports and
RSJ), we're having problems finding a table or unit that fits into the
alcove and have wondered about wall mounting the LCD.

We'd like a mount that allows us to pull the TV forward away from the
wall a bit (something like a Vogels EFW 6245), but the wall in the
alcove slopes at about 5%.

Will the slope on the wall be a problem, or does anyone have any
bright ideas at which other mounts I should look at (TV is a Toshiba
32WLT68)

Cheers

Andy
