On the GBPVR front , I had a play with the "TS-Mux" setting last
night and =
it appears to work very well. I was successfully recording 3 programs at
th=
e same time with only 2 tuners. The files its saves are Transport Streams
r=
ather than Mpeg but XBMC plays them fine. The only slight issue was that
on=
e of the programs ("Shaun of Dead") didn't have any sound, until
I figured =
out that if I went into XBMC audio setting it had 2 audio streams, when I
s=
witched to audio stream 2 it worked fine.

So I guess with 3 dual tuner cards (i.e. 6 tuners) and TS-Mux you could
rec=
ord every channel simultaneously without any conflicts !

Where are you getting the Pinnacle card from? I'm sure someone mentioned
play.com before, but I can't find it on there.

The pinnacle 3010xi card is pretty good (if you have PCI-E) as its VERY
cheap (<=A320) and has 2 Digital tuners on board.
