Looking at your article, according to Elan I am still somewhere between
Neolithic and Modern (50:50). But it strikes me that HD content is less
available to Post Modern Man than Modern Man, and even then it's limited?
1. Paleolithic: Pre-time-shifting. If you want to see it, you have to wait
for it.
2. Neolithic: Time-shifting. You can watch whenever you want, but only
what's on offer.
3. Modern: Download. Watch whatever you want, and then watch it whenever
you want.
4. Post-modern: Streaming. Instant access to all pieces of media ever
created.
Of course I want to see films in all their glory but I have resigned myself
to the fact that I probably won't be able to see 'The Sweeny' in HD...
