Yep ... 'thought the KozyFill idea was interesting (ie: for keeping
sensors etc out of the bath itself - could be electronic, of course)
and IIRC Tim had a not so different idea a while back ...

if you do go DIY, how about this for the sensor :

one or two have bought one, but also have rather long to-do lists, so
