Multiple physical volumes but which are mainly accessed through one single
open shared directory via the use of shortcuts and symbolic links.

Other (non-public) shares are separately published on the network and
password protected.

Pull out a spare caddy, bolt in a drive, format it and add it to wherever I
want it to go by modifying a batch file ... takes maybe 15 minutes?

Best purchase I made - they were very noisy but I replaced the fans in them
and now the whole server is quiet enough that it runs in my bedroom whilst
I'm "between houses".

To be honest I usually find that the "older" kit is more
reliable!
