RE: OT- Still captures of Composite Video



There are a large number of hardware options - basically, you need a
video capture card of some sort - some TV cards allow composite input and
these will also be fairly cheap. Of course you'll also need software that
can take a still or display software and a screen capture utility that can
capture the overlay surface normally used for displaying video.

One that springs to mind is the Dazzle video creator, combining USB capture
and edit software (that you SHOULD be able to take stills from - but worth
checking):
