x10 lights turning themselves on - help please!

Hi all,

Some of my x10 lights have started coming on by themselves. When they
do, they come on full power too.

Any idea what could be causing it? I do have a wireless X10
receiver/transmitter that I use but I'm not using when this happens
and the batteries in the transmitter are fairly new.

I'm not aware of any neighbours with X10 but I've not asked either.
