Pete,

It's also worth checking the small print carefully on the printer.

Sometimes the transformers inside consumer devices will accept
110-240VAC, and so might not be a problem.  Sometimes they have a
slider switch to change the number of turns used on the internal
transformer.  So you *may* not need any external transformer.  However
I renounce all responsibility on this one, it's up to you to check :-)
