RE: Power over ethernet switch

It "should" be using the spare pins for power, so as long as
your device is
only connecting to the network, then all should be OK.

Subject: [ukha_d] Power over ethernet switch

Hi,

Another quick one. I have a 12 port POE switch for my phones at home.
Anyone know if I can use one of the spare ports for a normal network
connection or will it go boom ?

Ta
Chris
