PC Construction: Pentium 4
Hi everyone,
I've managed to get hold of a Pentium 4 off Freecycle similar to the one
here: http://www.gumtree.com.au/sydney/76/16327376.html
However, all that has been given is the case and motherboard.
I'm going to strip everything back, replace the case (and buy or get hold
of
a processor (Pentium 4 1.4-3.46Ghz), cooling fan, heatsink and power supply
as I want them pretty quiet) in preparation for building a PVR.
However, there is a AGP slot (for graphics card) but only one PCI slot. I'm
going to purchase a PVR-350 which plugs into the PCI slot.
However, would I need another PCI slot for the sound card.
Is there another way around this or am I looking for another motherboard
now?
