Our house phone (normal analogue wired variety) has now broken and I
need to replace it.



Does anyone have any recommendations.. anything that could be used in an
automated home way ?



I like the idea of something that could be used as an intercom so we
could dial another room to tell the kids their tea is ready etc.. or
maybe something that could be used in an asterisk environment ?
