RE: [OT] Anti-virus / anti-spyware other essential programs?

How about Windows Home Server?.... - Will do completely automatic
daily
backups, and can do a "bare metal" restore of any of the client
machines
in the event of a total failure... that would seem like a fairly useful
set of features...

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Anti-virus / anti-spyware other essential
programs?

I need to upgrade / reinstall and basically reformat all my computers
at home. Everything is going t*ts up.

Main main computer only boots up when it wants to, I can't get access
to my NAS on others no matter what I do. Bascially it all needs
resetting!

Since I am doing this I thought I might as well get all the essential
programs in on my computers.

1. Can someone recommend a good antivirus-spyware program? Is the AVG
malware any good?

Anything else people would recommend as must haves? I was thinking
about getting something like drivermagic to manage all my drivers and
download updates, and perhaps Norton Ghost so when everything goes
t*ts up again I can just restore the systems?

Running Windows XP.

Thanks

Ho Yin
