Re: Broadband ADSL Help

I - and many other people - have had this with different service
providers, and it all seems to come back to BT. Can't remember the
details, but it seems that the line starts off fine, then gradually the
service starts to get worse - no idea why, but the signal to noise ratio
gets lower and lower as time goes by. Voice calls are generally OK,
though mine started to get iffy.

The answer is to shout at your ISP, who in turn will shout at BT, who
will make adjustments and fix the problem. Mine was fine for the first
6 months, got steadily worse for the next 6, shouted at ISP, problem
solved, no more issues for the past 2 years. If the ADSL light on the
router drops out, it ain't the wireless, its the BT line
