RE: Curtain automation

I have a load of old autoglide tracks & motors kicking around my
place
too...

Trouble is, I've been running this autoglide stuff for quite a few years
now, and I don't have a particularly high opinion of it. I've had lots
of motors fail, the bay kits were a nightmare (and aren't available any
more), and the pull tape inside the track is prone to stretching &
slipping.

Granted, all the above applies to the *old* autoglide product, when it
was still owned by Swish. I'm sure the newer stuff, as sold by Silent
Gliss is a lot better. - Still no good for bay windows though, which is
a bit of a problem, as I have two ruddy great big ones at the front of
the house!

Cheers.

Paul G.

I still have half a dozen Swish Autoglide rails and motors which I damn
well
made clear weren't going to be left in the house when we sold it and
which I
have safely stored for my next place.
