RE: TV Distro

Hi Rob,

Don't know if it is of any use but we have just updated our Sky setup in
ou=
r
community in Spain and as a result have a number of 8 way Mains powered
Global multiswitches available (they are only 8 months old). They are on
this page http://tinyurl.com/4xp5ux=20

With a quatro LNB you would get 8 seperately controllable outputs so 8
different sky outputs or 4 sky+ or a combination of both.

I see from satcure they are normally =A385, we would be looking for =A340
p=
lus
postage at cost.

Let me know if your friend is interested.

John

Subject: [ukha_d] TV Distro

Hi All
=20
A post for a guy at work here:
=20
What are people using for TV distro around the house? Unusually the
developer of his new house has had the foresight to take CT100 feeds back
from the principal rooms back to under the stairs but then helpfully left
them coiled in the corner :-) That's developer style "whole house
video
distro" :-)
=20
He wants to install freeview (or possibly Sky) but feed to all the rooms?
I=
s
the loftbox the way to go, seems to get mixed reviews?=20
=20
As he's not a UKHA member he's not adverse to spending a bit of cash on a
good solution but doesn't want to stretch to a full AV distro system (AKA
Xantech, Niles, Russound.). ;-)
