Re: Hometronic Question

Paul - Have you looked at the HX10? It looks like it will take the
input from a relay or X10.

night to start with). Hometronic then sets a 'lifestyle' to knock back
temperatures etc.

These remain in
effect until the lifestyle is cancelled (remotely via the input module) or
for a certain time
period (if set from the Hometronic manager).

the morning though after a night mode, so a timed output off would be
needed. For night
mode, it's only really the time of going to bed that needs to change and at
that time I want
the heating to fall back to night temps (rather than having the heating
drop back later at
night if still up and watching a film etc if it's on a simple time
schedule).

allow much more sophisticated control and reporting - i.e. you can get
temperature
reporting and with the latest interface you can also change the schedules.
Changing the
schedules would be quite good as potentially HV could do this I think.

input module yet -
will happen in a few weeks possibly when the new Node0 is fully up and
running.
