I realised I got the cable modem model number wrong in my post a few
days ago. It's a Motorola Surfboard 4100 (not 5100), but the manual
still states that it can download at 38Mbps and that the ethernet
interface is 10/100.
My router's specs say it only do 10Mbps, so there's no point trying to
get a new modem out of Virgin until I've replaced it.
