RE: BT phone over rj45 structured cabling
I'd definitely use the RJ45 to BT plug adaptors rather than hard wire
(like I did) - hard wiring makes it a pain in the future to
"borrow" or swap over leads etc. CPC have some IIRC.
At the patch panel, you can simply daisy chain several sockets together by
linking them at the punchdown side, green to green, brown to brown etc etc.
Then whatever is plugged into the first socket is shared with the others.
Only do this for phone though, not Ethernet obviously.
