Re: Re: An end to high-energy bulbs
but who's going to pay to replace all the light-fittings which
won't=20=20
take CFLs ... in our current house, that's about thirty-something=20=20
fittings, including the under-cupboard & in-cupboard ones, plus
the=20=20
shaver-light-transformer units, plus several dimmer units ...=20=20
including not only the cost of the units, the cost of the new bulbs,=20=20
the cost of electrician, and the cost of redecoration ... what's the=20=20
pay-back time ... in =A3=A3=A3s and in CO2 (not forgetting all teh
embedded=
=20=20
CO2) ... ???
If the case for doing it is so good, financially &
environmentally,=20=20
wouldn't we just do it ... ?
