You don't. If you were to replace the cable modem you would need
another cable modem, not an ADSL one. AFAIK the cable modem is provided
with the broadband package, and if has a problem it will be replaced for
free.
What you need is a Cable/DSL router - most of the come with a built-in 4
port switch. The output from the cable modem will then plug into the
router.
