interesting stuff, I'd forgotten what bit-shifting & testing
routines
were for ... 'used to use them on our old HP41, when the only way I
could to keep track of my logic & see what it was doing was to use
pen & paper, writing down register contents step by step ... with
method A vs method B, side by side, when necessary ... 'twas funny
how often it looked different to what was in my head ...
