Linksys NSLU2

I am looking for a simple NAS solution and was thinking of the Linksys
NSLU2
but I am not really familiar with this technology does anyone know if;

1. It appears as an additional shared drive in explorer
2. Whether it is possible to use standard FAT32 formatted USB Hard drives,
which can also be read on a PC?
