RE: Easier laying of cables
Armeg also make one which Screwfix sells but they are quite expensive.
Wha=
t
I did was use a 4=94 hole saw to cut the hole. Screwed two bits of floor
board to the bottom side of the board at each side of the hole; to create
two ledges. I dropped the cut out circle back into the hole and screwed it
to the two aforementioned ledges. To seal it I just used some expanding
foam to fill the gap and when it had cured rubbed it flush with the floor.
The foam came always be removed in the future by just running the original
hole saw round to break it up. Hole in the middle allows a bit of wire
through to hook it out.

All a bit Heath Robinson but it was never going to be seen.

Subject: [ukha_d] Easier laying of cables

Morning,
I am looking for comment from others on methods they have used to lay=20
cables under floorboards. Our house is a modern build with particle=20
board tongue and groove sheets for floor-boards. I have already bought=20
some electrician rods which are very useful.
Looking for other things I came across the "Cavity Master" which
seems=20
like a useful tool. Has anyont got one and what do they think? URL for=20
info is HYPERLINK

Thanks=20
