I've used the Russound range and been very happy with them for whole
house audio.

I think they are a good balance between quality and price.

And used these single speaker stereo units in the bathroom.

Work fine in small rooms - like bathrooms!

For a full 5.1 cinema setup I'd probably go for something like the
Sonances (I have actually got a 'normal' floorstanding / wall setup)
but for general, non-audiophile needs, listening I think these can be
recommended.
