As James said, follow the instructions. If you get the BT rebadged Visonic,
the install guide is not as detailed as the Visonic here:

Pay attention to section 3.8, for the vertical height adjustment. The screw
that holds the pcb in, is also the height adjustment.

If you get the BT branded PIRs, the horrible BT logo can be rubbed off
easily with some gentle rubbing using a small amount of wire wool.

As the Visonic PIRs are wireless, if the initial placement/location doesn't
work, you can move them easily :)

Once you have found the optimum location, try to use the anti-tamper screw
mounts behind the pcb, not the double sided tape supplied :)
