Worked fine for me and I was doing it through a Virtual PC
configuration. Is the HDD SATA? Does it need a mass-storage driver? How
about copying source files to HDD and disconnecting the CD/DVD? How
much memory? Is it in pairs? Have you reduced to 1 GB? How about
reseting BIOS to factory defaults?
