If you use Firefox & GreaseMonkey, the other thing to consider for
web
passwords is Password Composer:

Based on a user supplied master password (which never leaves the PC) it
generates a unique password for each web site, so dodgy security on one
site
doesn't endanger your security on other sites.

It was also available as a bookmarket at one point.
