Yes I imagine 12V lead acid battery type replacement supplies might
be tuned to the 13.8V nominal full charge. I have seen some off the
shelf 13.5V supplies, but more common is 12 or 15V. However if you're
putting these in your own enclosure some open frame or DIN switch
mode units provide access to a +/-10% adjusting potentiometer. Switch
mode supplies are also good in terms of maintaining consistent
voltage over their rated current range.
