Active Speakers

I am looking for some way of playing the output from something like a
squeezebox/soundbridge in a (under construction) conservatory - Any
recommendations for active speakers/wireless speakers. Also what do I need
to consider in terms of wiring? I have provision for plenty of power, but
was considering Speakers etc. at the same time.
