After much looking this is the unit that 'will' be the basis of my
network at some point in the future, cost is the only stumbling block
at the moment, only thing to caution is that if you want to use SSODS
(slim server on diskstation) then you need one of the more meaty ones,

the e versions are the low end, then you have the normal i.e. 207 e,
then 207 and in some cases even 207+

In the 407 range its just 407e and 407 and 407 is rated as running
slim server well.
