Re: Off to Canada, everything must go

'had an aunt who went on holiday for two weeks in Montana ... she
took early retirement asap afterwards ... learnt to drive & bought a
plot of land ... built a log cabin in the Rockies ...

'did not go smoothly, but she lived there to the end, for many, many
years ... and never regretted it ...

'went to a meeting, a few years ago, in Calgary, and took a trip to
Banff ... around Easter-time ... 'must say, 'made me appreciate the
UK all the more ... nature is much more tamed here ... much more to
our scale ...

before the flight home, 'went to the top of the tower, in Calgary ...
'can still remember seeing thunder-storms, miles & miles away,
creeping along the Rockies .. all in a line, clear as day ...

Vancouver is said to be great .. 'though not without (recent)
problems ...

good luck ... will you be self-building again ? ... ... the 'net is
global, so do let us know !

Chris
