I'm still trying to find a solution to the problem though and drawing
a blank, even when phoning networking suppliers.

What I really want is a high density punch down block like:

That I can connect the two cables together by punching them down together.

It mentions high speed data but I couldn't see any specs relating to this
and I haven't found anything in the UK yet.

Has anyone moved a cabling cabinet and extended cables before?
