RE: pcb assembly

Hi,

We use two local (to us) companies for small quantity "prototype"
stuff
like this:

Challenger Solutions, South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 5ZA - 01245 325252
Brynleigh, Maldon, CM9 4XL - 01621 877921

Couldn't give you an idea on cost, though. Our stuff is usually more
like 20 through hole and 200 surface mount components per board!

Of note, we use for prototype PCB's
www.prcircuits.com
www.rak.co.uk
and a small very local company that has no web presence :-O

HTH,

Subject: [ukha_d] pcb assembly

Hi guys,

I know it's been discussed a few times here that Olimex is the place to
go to for prototype pcbs, but is there any advice here on pcb assembly
in small quantities?

Not looking for anything too large - 30 or 60 39mmx48mm pcbs stuffed
with 16 through hole components each - enough that I don't want to
solder them myself ;)

(Olimex will do this - they've quoted me in the region of 200-400ukp
including the PCBs and components - has anyone used them for this
before?)

Thanks

Joseph
