Re: Re: Geovision Question

My issues are based only on the commercial viability of providing
Geovision
to Clients. I tried 2 and chucked in towel. One of the cards was faulty -
bad batch apparently and then they introduced this usb key thing, and had
problems with the PC's .
My own system works fine.
But if I think how much time I have spent on my own 'working' system!!
Don't get me wrong I love it and if I had a penny for everyone who has seen
my set up - GV650 and wanted same I give them a blank look cause I don't
want to do it for other people, cause they don't realise what's involved
but
I do.
I just got drawn into so many issues which were mainly around the PC that
it
sits on which you have to get drawn in to get the thing working, then no
matter how the PC is set up the Client can always go in there and do stuff.
For me to supply a PC get it configured and working and firewalled etc -
the
actual labour cost etc. The sums don't add up.
On the other hand would like to hear from pepe's who have a commercial
model
working for supplying and installing CCTV systems based on Geovision.
